Last midnight , I got my astronomy activities. It's quite fun..
The weather was very clear , so we saw a lot of stars and cluster but it was very cold outside.
My instructur was Anton, he taught me to assembly , balancing, alignment, pointing and using software that was related to this observation
I learned many infomation especially trouble shooting in this telescope
My observation was started at 19.00 and ended at 2.00
It was very interesting observation because we saw nebula and globular clusters.
While I was arranging the findercope to align the telescope, it was quite difficult because you must change the direction of the screw using findercope with helix key.
Last night the red cross in the field of view didn't see clearly.
After we assembly and alignment the telescope at 6 stars.
We start to focus and grab some pictures with CCD. We seacrh M4, Omega Centauri , M20 , M57 , and many else.
We changed our filter to red , green or blue filter. I think CCD was a modern facility in Indonesia.
CCD like a digital camera with a strong resolution and sensitivity , also have special pixels.
I know that all of my friends in this observation was very good and become an expert. I know they always teach me the best. I was the youngest people among them. So I must learn and have a lot of questions to my senior. Everybody were my teachers,include them
